MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 India
The company has touring bikes in their portfolio but no cruiser motorcycles yet

MV Agusta is developing their first cruiser bike which is expected to hit the global showrooms in the next two years. Timur Sardarov, CEO has confirmed the company’s plans of introducing bikes in new segments including the cruiser motorcycle segment.

Along with the cruiser, they are also coming up with a new scrambler motorcycle. While the details of the displacement of these bikes are not confirmed yet, they will pack some premium hardware and tech on offer.

The new range of bikes from the company get the latest tech having smartphone connectivity features with all-digital instrument cluster. The bikes get multiple riding modes along with advanced safety equipment.

MV Agusta is planning to re-enter the Indian market and is currently looking for a new partner. They parted ways with Kinetic MotoRoyale as they claimed their Indian partner is not representing the brand in a right way. Constant misinterpretation of contracts was one of the reasons to end the partnership.

Once the new partner for India sales gets appointed, we can expect MV Agusta to bring in new range of Euro 5 (BS6) bikes with the latest tech. We can also expect the upcoming cruiser motorcycle to hit the Indian showrooms after its global debut.

Currently the premium end of the market is totally crashed in terms of sales as the buyer sentiment is quite low due to the ongoing pandemic crisis across the nation.
