Oben Electric has launched the new Rorr EVO in India at an introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 buyers. The electric motorcycle is aimed at riders who want sporty performance without compromising on practicality, and bookings have already opened at just ₹777. Test rides and deliveries are expected to begin from June 2026 across Oben’s 150 dealerships in India.

The Rorr EVO gets a sharp streetfighter-inspired design with aggressive styling, muscular body panels and a projector LED headlamp setup that gives it a sporty road presence. Oben is offering the motorcycle in four colour options – Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Photon White and Magnetic Black.

Powering the motorcycle is a 9 kW electric motor paired with a chain drive setup, helping the Rorr EVO hit a claimed top speed of 110 km/hr. Oben claims the bike can sprint from 0-40 km/hr in just 3 seconds, while the IDC-certified range stands at 180 km on a single charge. The motorcycle uses a 3.4 kWh LFP battery pack, which is designed to offer better heat resistance and longer life compared to regular lithium-ion batteries.

One of the biggest highlights on the Rorr EVO is the new SmartIQ ride mode. This AI-based system studies the rider’s behaviour in real time and adjusts power delivery accordingly to improve efficiency. According to Oben, SmartIQ can boost the range by up to 15 percent. Riders also get multiple ride modes including Eco, City and Havoc depending on how aggressively they want to ride.

Charging times are pretty practical too. Using the Oben Plug fast charger, the battery can charge from 0-80 percent in just 90 minutes, while a full charge takes about 5 hours. Oben has also equipped the motorcycle with features like reverse mode, dual USB charging ports and a massive 10 litres of storage space, split between the tank pod and under-seat compartment, something rarely seen on motorcycles.

The Rorr EVO also focuses heavily on comfort and daily usability. It gets a long 680 mm seat, accessible 780 mm seat height and 200 mm ground clearance, making it suitable for Indian roads. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock, while braking comes from disc brakes at both ends with Unified Brake Assist for added safety.

On the tech front, the bike comes loaded with a 5-inch TFT display that supports navigation, call alerts, text notifications and ride statistics. Through the Oben app, riders can also access features like live bike tracking, geo-fencing, remote diagnostics, theft protection and emergency fall alerts. The motorcycle additionally gets an 8-year battery warranty, giving buyers extra peace of mind for long-term ownership.
