Look at the decline in sales of these popular models!

Scooter sales in the month of October 2021 declined by 18 percent when compared with October 2020

If it isn’t the Honda Activa leading the scooter sales in October 2021, then what else would it be? The most popular scooter in India found 1,96,699 new homes last month.

Second-placed TVS Jupiter was far off, but, did well to find over 72,000 new takers in October, whereas the Suzuki Access 125 was third with just shy of 46,500 unit sales.

TVS retailed 25,693 units of its popular NTorq scooter last month, and Honda sold 25,641 units of the Dio, followed by the Hero Pleasure+ with 21,716 unit sales.

Up next in the October 2021 scooter sales chart are Yamaha products, the Ray (13,601 units) and Fascino (13,487 units), both of which were very close in terms of sales, and the Hero Destini 125 (12,898 units) was not far off either.

In the last spot sat the Honda Grazia with 8321 unit sales in what was a rather dismal month for scooters, at least for the ones in the top 10.

Of all the scooters in the chart above, only the Yamaha Fascino registered year-on-year (YoY) sales growth. Overall, the top 10 scooters registered sales of 4,36,667 units, which is a decline of 18 percent over the same period a year ago.
