Suzuki Hayabusa is back again in this list

In May, 2022, performance bike sales, the newly launched Triumph Tiger 1200 series post impressive numbers

Performance bike sales in May, 2022, had some new entrants among the top sellers. All the bikes in the list have posted impressive YoY growth when compared to their pandemic performance.

Bikes that displace more than 1000 cc have also been featured in this list which shows Indians’ preference to get maximum value from the price paid. At number 1, Royal Enfield 650 twins have again strongly registered their names selling more than 1300 units.

The Royal Enfields were distantly followed by the KTM 390 lineup that consists of the Duke 390, RC 390, and 390 Adventure. The trio have managed to find a place here after quite a long time of low sales. They are expected to keep the momentum going here onwards.

At the third spot, Kawasaki Ninja 300 nearly maintained its 150 odd units. A price reduction would surely make the baby Ninja a terrific proposition. At number 4, Kawasaki Z900 continues to punch ahead of its price for an amazing double-digit sales.

Taking the fifth spot, Triumph’s all-new Tiger 1200 series are the latest entrants in this list. The new generation bikes were launched just a few days back which had lead to the increase in sales. They have a good set of electronics for perfect adventures.

After a long time, Suzuki Hayabusa is back again in this list taking the sixth place. The Busa recently got new colour options for 2023 which might have lead to the increase in sales. At number 7, Kawasaki Ninja 650 has maintained its usual numbers.

The last 3 places were taken by Honda Africa Twin, CBR650R, and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. Both the Hondas now have a great fan following and are getting consistently featured in this list. The ZX-10R has created a niche for itself.
