Porsche has recalled 483 units of the Cayenne In India, in order to fix faulty headlights. The German automaker has recalled 1 lakh units of the Cayenne globally to fix this issue, wherein a incorrectly locked headlight module could result in the part coming of the vehicle. The recall affects all model year 2011 and 2012 Porsche Cayenne SUVs. The locking system on the headlights will be fixed free of cost to the Porsche customer and will take 45 minutes to be rectified. All Cayenne vehicles manufactured between 8th March 2010 to 31st January 2012 have been recalled to fix the issue. Porsche currently sells 5 variants of the Cayenne in India, which includes Cayenne Diesel, Cayenne V6 Tiptronic, Cayenne S Hybrid, Cayenne S V8 Tiptronic and Cayenne Turbo Tiptronic. The cheapest Porsche Cayenne is the diesel variant, which is priced at Rs. 77.44 lakhs, while the top of the line Cayenne Turbo is priced at Rs. 1.63 crore (all prices on-road, Mumbai).
