Typical of off-roader bikes, the modified Pulsar 220 gets a long travel suspension and a high-set front fender

A Pulsar 220 has been turned into an off-road bike for a whopping Rs. 2 lakhs! First off, the modified Pulsar 220 gets a new frame, fuel tank, body panels and also a seat. All these new parts make the Pulsar 220 look like a proper adventure bike. In fact the modified Pulsar 220 takes its design inspiration from the Honda CRF250R.

The modified Pulsar 220 gets a high-set front fender and a single-piece handlebar. The front and rear suspension is inspired from the Kawasaki KLX150 and so are the spoked wheels. However, the motorcycle gets road-biased high grip tyres. The normal discs have been replaced with petal disc brakes both at the front and rear and there are dual exhaust mufflers placed under the seat. The chain is also seen with a chain tensioner.

Apart from the cosmetic changes, the modified Pulsar 220 gets no mechanical changes. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox, the Pulsar 220 comes powered by a 220cc single-cylinder motor that produces 20.93 PS of power and 18.55 Nm of torque.
