Bajaj Pulsar CS 400 non-ABS was recently spotted in production guise. A bike of CS 400’s calibre is what the Pulsar series has been lacking so far, and the motorcycle is sure to attract a lot of competition in its segment.

Bajaj has been captivating with its Pulsar series in India for quite a few years now. They have mixed together all the requisites to create a perfect winning strategy for the past decade. But, there was always a high capacity sports bike missing from the race-inspired road vehicle lineup.

We had a first glimpse of the Bajaj Pulsar CS 400, way back in 2014 at the Auto Expo. Since then, there have been on and off rumours about its production model and the features it is going to come with. The Pulsar CS 400 is expected to be sold both internationally and domestically, given its fame around the globe.

The ‘sports cruiser’, as fondly called by the company, will be powered by a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled petrol engine that produces close to 40 BHP and bears resemblance to the one on the KTM Duke 390. A 6-speed manual gearbox will ensure a linear power delivery as expected from a bike that is an embodiment of both performance and power.

An all-new multi-beam headlamp and a secondary display above the fuel filler cap is seen. In the spy images, we can see a non-ABS version, thus implying that the motorcycle will be available in two variants, with and without ABS. Bajaj is reportedly going to price it fiercely between Rs. 1.5 – 1.8 lakhs in India which could turn it all guns blazing against its counterparts.
