Rajiv Bajaj (MD, Bajaj Auto) had said they will not launch lower capacity Pulsars but here they go. Bajaj has launched the Pulsar NS 125 in Poland to attract customers looking for a 125cc segment motorcycle, priced at PLS 7999 (Rs 1.58 lakh). The Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS was the entry-level bike until the launch of the Pulsar NS 125. Looking at the international market response in the lower capacity segment, Bajaj has launched the Pulsar NS 125.

This motorcycle is powered by a 124.45cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, DTS-i motor that produces 12 PS and 11 Nm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. In terms of dimensions, the NS 125 is similar to the 135 LS, though it weighs 4 kgs more. A larger 10.5-litre fuel tank instead of the 135 LS’ 8-litre could be the reason for it.

The Pulsar NS 125 comes with telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. It gets a 240 mm front disc brake and 130 mm rear drum brake with 17-inch alloy wheels. Bajaj is offering four colour options on the Pulsar NS 125 – Black, Red, White and Yellow.

Well, Bajaj has launched the lower capacity Pulsar even after Mr. Bajaj’s words. We can expect the Pulsar NS 125 to be launched in India soon. If this happens, the Pulsar NS 125 will be the most affordable Pulsar you can buy. The Pulsar NS 125 will have an advantage of not being mandated to have ABS since it is a sub-125cc motorcycle.
