Bajaj Auto is expected to introduce the next-generation Pulsar 150 later this month, marking what could be one of the biggest updates to the brand in recent years. While speculation has suggested that either the Pulsar 125 or Pulsar 150 could receive the next major update, industry reports indicate that the Pulsar 150 is the more likely model.
The expected launch comes as the Pulsar brand approaches its 25th anniversary. First introduced in 2001 with the Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180, the motorcycle played a key role in establishing Bajaj’s presence in India’s performance commuter segment. Launching a new-generation Pulsar 150 during this milestone year would align with the brand’s legacy.
The upcoming motorcycle is expected to be more than a cosmetic refresh. Reports suggest it could receive an all-new design along with significant mechanical changes, including a new chassis, an updated engine and revised suspension. It is also likely to feature new technology and additional equipment to bring it in line with the rest of the modern Pulsar range.
The existing Pulsar lineup has seen several updates over the years with the introduction of the N-series and NS models. However, the Pulsar 150 has largely retained its original platform, making it one of the oldest motorcycles in the company’s portfolio. A complete generational update would help keep it competitive in the segment.
Bajaj Auto has not officially confirmed the launch date or revealed technical details of the upcoming model. More information is expected closer to its anticipated debut later this month.
