The Royal Enfield Green Fly is a modified Classic 500 which won’t go on sale.

The Green Fly looks absolutely wicked and mean

Royal Enfield is currently focussed on expanding its market on a global scale. They recently launched their products in the Spanish market. During the launch, Royal Enfield themselves showcased a modification spectacle. The bike used was a Classic 500, RE has named the bike as Green Fly. The mastermind behind this modification is Jesus De Juan.

Royal Enfield also recently entered France and during the launch, the company had unveiled two modified versions of the Classic 500 which were called as Mo’Powa and Dirty Duck. The Green Fly is not a street legal bike yet.

The Royal Enfield Green Fly looks more like an off-roader which is not the case with the stock Classic 500. The Green Fly gets a monoshock suspension but it’s placed towards the left-hand side of the bike. The motorcycle as expected, gets a custom exhaust and it uses off-road focussed tyres. The front wheel gets a 140 section tyre and the rear houses a 150 section tyre. The alloys are painted in green which go with the name of the bike.

The modifications made to the engine are not known yet. Royal Enfield haven’t specified any changes that they’ve done to the engine. The headlight unit has been changed and the Royal Enfield Green Fly gets a projector headlamp. The disc brakes are replaced on the front and now get a petal disc setup. The rear brake uses the same setup as the Continental GT. The engine is painted in black which makes the motorbike look more attractive.

Royal Enfield is currently growing on a large scale in India. They are not planning to launch any new model in India for the time being although the Classic series will soon get an update to meet BS-IV emission norms. The 350 and 500 models will also get a rear disc while ABS could be offered as specified internationally.
