The new motorcycles gets a different design language

Royal Enfield is preparing to launch a range of new motorcycles in the near future. The Indian bike maker has left with no stock of BS4 bikes and they have re-arranged their lineup in order to go ahead with the new products.

One of the upcoming motorcycles is the Meteor, which is likely to replace the RE Thunderbird. The bike has been spotted earlier with heavy camouflage but this time around it is caught undisguised revealing the new styling.

The bike gets a round headlamp, circular instrument cluster, chrome bezels, new tear drop fuel tank and circular tail lamp. The design look quite retro and the riding position seems to be relaxed.

It is likely to get a 346-499cc capacity engine with fuel injection tech and 6-speed gearbox.

The Meteor is based on the Indian bike maker’s new J-platform and the test mule looks production ready. Royal Enfield is expected to introduce the new generation bike ahead of the festive season this year depending on the COVID-19 situation in the country.
