Simple Electric Scooter Patent

Simple Energy patents a new family e-scooter likely to rival Ather Rizta

Simple Energy appears to be expanding its electric two-wheeler lineup, as the company has filed a design patent for a new scooter. Unlike the sporty and performance-focused Simple One, this upcoming model carries a more practical and family-friendly design, positioning it as a potential rival to the Ather Rizta.

As per the patent images, the new e-scooter features a clean and contemporary design. It includes a flat seat designed for comfort, a small rear backrest for the pillion and a front fairing that incorporates dual LED headlamps along with an integrated LED daytime running light (DRL).

The scooter also comes equipped with a telescopic front suspension and rides on distinctive silver alloy wheels that sport a five-pointed star pattern. While specific details regarding the motor, battery capacity and range are yet to be disclosed, the model is expected to be underpinned by a new platform, indicating a fresh approach from Simple Energy in the family scooter space.

With this addition, the brand seems to be targeting a broader customer base, focusing on everyday practicality and comfort in addition to performance.
