The Skoda Superb Sportline has been launched in India, priced from Rs. 28.99 lakhs.
Skoda has revealed the price for the Superb Sportline. After the Skoda Octavia RS, the company has decided to launch the sportier looking version of the their flagship sedan in India, the Skoda Superb Sportline.
At first impression, the Skoda Superb Sportline comes with sharper styling in a sporty red paint job and black interior. It gets a glossy black finish on ORVMs, front grille, side window frames, side door inserts and a sleek spoiler adds the sporty character to the car. The Superb Sportline gets 17-inch dual-tone Drakon alloy wheels, rear diffuser with chrome accents and a Sportline badge on both front fenders.
On the inside, it gets LED ambient lights, an 8-inch touchscreen display compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a 3-spoke steering wheel with paddle-shifters. The seats are wrapped in satin black Alcantara leather upholstery with integrated headrests and diamond stitching. The front and the rear door gets chrome strips with the Superb inscription along with the chrome pedals.
This car comes in two engine options – the 2.0-litre TDI and the 1.8-litre TSI from the Skoda Superb engine range. The 1.8-litre TSI engine produces 180 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque which claims a fuel efficiency of 14.81 km/l. The 2.0-litre TDI engine with 16 valves DOHC, produces 177 PS of power and 350 Nm of peak torque which claims a fuel efficiency of 18.66 km/l. The petrol and diesel variants get 7-speed DSG and 6-speed DSG respectively.
The Superb Sportline 1.8-litre TSI is priced at Rs. 28.99 lakhs and the 2.0-litre TDI is priced at Rs. 31.49 lakhs (ex-showroom, India). This car gets three colour options – Moon White, Velvet Red and Steel Grey. Skoda is offering a four-year warranty program with 24×7 roadside assistance as standard.
