2019 Skoda Superb Corporate Edition Priced At Rs. 23.99 Lakhs

Here is some big news for people who love the Skoda Superb. The Czech-based automaker has launched the 2019 Superb Corporate Edition at a price of Rs. 23.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). However, this pricing is introductory and it is only valid for existing Skoda customers.

The front fascia of the Skoda Superb Corporate Edition is highlighted by the signature chrome-laden butterfly grille and slim projector headlamps. The fog lamps lower down are sharply crafted. From the side view, the bonnet looks elongated and there is a fine character line passing across the length of the car, starting from the front fenders to the wraparound tail lights.

Inside the cabin, there is an 8-inch touchscreen Amundsen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink. The cabin looks extremely premium with beige coloured leather upholstery and a 3-zone Climatronic air-conditioning. The 625-litres boot space can be expanded up to 1760-litres if the rear seats are folded down.

Moreover, the company has taken care of the safety of all the occupants pretty well by offering eight airbags and 3-point seatbelts. It comes with AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System) that senses speed changes as well as weather conditions for cornering, swivelling and dynamic headlamp inclination function.

The Skoda Superb Corporate Edition is powered by the 1.8-litre TSI petrol engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 180 PS along with a peak torque of 320 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, though a DSG is available on the higher trims. It is claimed to deliver fuel efficiency of 14.64 km/l.

The Corporate Edition is available in 2 colours – Magnetic Brown and Candy White. We feel the lower price tag is going to attract quite a few potential customers but since it is limited to only existing customers of the brand, it might be a drawback.
