Skoda Auto has announced that they will showcase a new compact SUV concept at the upcoming 2020 Auto Expo. This compact SUV is being developed for the Indian market and now the automaker has revealed a sketch of the concept vehicle’s interior.

The compact SUV concept is said to be 4.26-metres in length and it will be the first vehicle to be based on the new localised sub-compact platform of the MQB A0 IN modular transverse matrix. The MQB A0 IN platform will underpin a lot of models from Skoda and Volkswagen.

Skoda claims that they have focussed on meeting Indian customers’ requirements while developing this new compact SUV. The interior of the vehicle does look premium and sporty, with a lot of orange-coloured elements too. The dashboard gets chrome-plated vents, a free standing screen, virtual cockpit and a multi-function 3-spoke steering wheel with buttons and knurl wheels. The vehicle gets a small gear knob.
