Apart from the addition of CBS, no other changes have been made

2019 has been a busy time for automobile manufacturers. The upcoming safety and emission regulations which are going to be implemented soon have seen most of the manufacturers upgrading their products. This includes the two-wheelers as well. The government has made it mandatory for vehicles above 150cc to have ABS and from 125-150cc to have CBS as standard. The Suzuki Access 125 drum brake variant is now in the list as it has received CBS in its latest update.

Suzuki had updated the disc brake variant of the Access 125 with CBS last year, which went on to get good feedback from the customers. With the latest update on the drum brake variant, Suzuki has updated its entire range of scooters with this safety feature. The CBS on the Access 125 drum brake variant allows the rider to use both the brakes by only pressing the left brake lever. The combined braking system is an added system in the regular brakes which helps in reducing the braking distance in certain situations like panic braking. CBS also helps to maintain a good balance with the front and rear braking forces.

The CBS equipped Suzuki Access 125 drum brake variant is now available at a price of Rs. 56,667/- (ex-showroom Delhi). The scooter is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine making 8.7 PS of power and 10.2 Nm of torque.
