The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is a new offering from the company to rival the likes of the Pulsar RS 200, Yamaha FZ25 and the Honda CBR250R. The bike is powered by a 249cc oil cooled, single-cylinder motor that produces 26.5 PS at 9000 RPM and 22.6 Nm at 7500 RPM. The fuel-injected 4-valve SOHC motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 price is expected to be Rs. 1.80 lakhs (ex-showroom, India).

The Gixxer SF 250 has a seat height of 800 mm and has a fuel tank capacity of 12-litres. It weighs 161 kgs and is 6 kgs lighter than its rival, the Honda CBR250R. It gets dual-disc brakes and telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock setup.

It gets LED headlamp set-up, split-seats for an aggressive and sporty look and a double-barrel exhaust. Also, the rear mudguard is bolted on the swingarm. Select dealers have started accepting bookings for the bike ahead of its May 20th, 2019 launch date for Rs. 10,000/-.
