The Suzuki Let’s gets new colour options but no changes to the mechanicals

Suzuki India launched the Let’s and Gixxer two-wheelers last year with both the completely new products expected to be game changers for the company. While we can surely say the same for the Gixxer, the Let’s scooter hasn’t been able to live up to the expectations with sales being far from satisfactory. Suzuki’s older Access and Swish continue to have a larger charm over the masses, while the youth-oriented Let’s seems to be a dud. However, inducing some freshness into its smallest scooter, Suzuki has now introduced new dual-tone colour options on the Let’s in a bid to improve its appeal.

The new colour options come ahead of the festive season and add a sporty charm to the trendy little scooter. The three new dual-tone shades include Matte Grey and Matte Black, Pearl Suzuki Blue No. 2 and Matte Black; Pearl Mira Red and Matte Black. There is also a mono Pearl Mirage White colour option added to the lineup and looks extremely premium. In addition, the dual-tone shades come with trendy graphics including contrasting stripes at the front and checkered decals on the side panels.

In terms of mechanicals, the Suzuki Let’s continues with the existing setup with power coming from a 112.8cc single-cylinder engine with SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology that produces 8.7 HP at 7500 RPM and 9 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM, paired to a CVT autobox. The scooter gets telescopic front forks and swingarm type coil spring at the rear, and the features list includes central locking, mobile charging point and tubeless tyres. While prices have not been revealed for the dual-tone versions, dealers have started accepting bookings pan-India. The standard Suzuki Let’s is priced at Rs. 50,600 (on-road, Delhi).
