2021 Suzuki Swift Facelift Features
The front profile comes with a new grille design that gets a chrome lining

2021 Suzuki Swift facelift has hit the showrooms in the UK. Only eagle eyed folks will be able to notice the differences as the hatchback gets very subtle tweaks.

The front profile gets a new grille with a honeycomb pattern and a strip of chrome to make its presence felt. Otherwise the car looks more or less the same. The rear profile looks untouched.

Suzuki has introduced a new Flame Orange Pearl Metallic colour option in the UK and the car is also available with black contrast roof with three colour options.

The Swift which is sold in UK is manufactured in Japan. The India-spec Swift facelift is expected to get more changes like new alloy wheels design, new grille and bumpers along with revised tail lights. The interior too is likely to get a few more updates.

There are three variants on offer in UK which come with an updated list of features. The base variant gets 6 airbags, Radar Brake Support (automated emergency braking), Adaptive Cruise Control, LED headlights, privacy glass, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone link fitted as standard.

The higher variants get Dual Sensor Brake Support, Lane Departure Warning and Weaving Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Monitor, Traffic Sign Recognition, etc.

In India, don’t expect these features at all. The facelift will continue to offer the existing features along with some minor additions.

Suzuki is offering updated hybrid powertrains in the UK but in India we will get an updated 1.2-litre petrol motor. It is the K12C DualJet 1.2-litre BS6 petrol engine that will come with 7 PS increased power output.

12V mild-hybrid system is not expected to be offered but the fuel efficiency will be better. The Maruti Swift facelift is expected to hit the showrooms in October during the festive season this year.
