Bookings are open unofficially for the Tata Altroz and Nexon Dark Edition models ahead of their launch
Tata Motors is expected to launch the Dark Edition variants of the Nexon and Altroz on 7th July and bookings for both have commenced unofficially.
Both cars were caught at a dealer yard in Pune a couple of days ago and once again, the Nexon Dark Edition has been spotted, this time by MotorBeamer Shubham Thete.
The Tata Nexon Dark Edition comes with an all-black paint scheme with contrasting grey applique such as the lower trim of the grille, the front splitter, window waistline and the trim that connects the tail lamps.
Even the alloy wheels are painted in black, but the rear skid plate is finished in silver colour. To denote that this model is the Dark Edition variant, as if the colour does not give that fact away, Tata has also added the #Dark emblem on the vehicle.
Inside, the compact SUV features a dashboard that is also finished in black and it also has Piano Black trim seemingly everywhere along with darker upholstery, to complete the murdered out look.
Similarly, the Altroz Dark Edition also comes in an all-black theme on the outside and inside, and like its compact SUV counterpart, it too gets blacked-out wheels and an emblem denoting it as a special edition model.
When the Tata Nexon Dark Edition launch happens alongside the same variant of the Altroz, the carmaker will reveal the number of trims the new editions will be offered in. Currently, they are expected to be launched only in top-spec guise.
Expect Tata to ask Rs. 20,000/- more for the Dark Edition models over corresponding trim levels and both models should be received well by customers.
