Tata Hexa driven on extreme off-road terrains including rivers, showing what it’s capable of.

Tata Hexa Off-Roading
The Tata Hexa is built on a hydroformed ladder-frame chassis

The Hexa is the flagship product for Tata Motors and one need not look at the specs of the car to know how good an off-roader the MPV turned SUV is. The looks are enough. The body claddings, flared wheel arches, massive 19-inch alloy wheels and 208 mm ground clearance tell you what kind of off-roading this SUV is capable of.

There are 3 videos below which highlight the off-roading capabilities of the Tata Hexa. YouTuber Raaghav Munavalli drives the Hexa on rivers and small streams and the Hexa just glides over all the terrains. The flagship Tata car comes powered by a 2.2-litre Varicor diesel engine that produces 156 HP of power and 400 Nm of torque. The oil burner comes mated to a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission.

Features like torque on demand, Hill Hold Assist, Hill Descent Control, Traction Control System, Electronic Stability Program, all 4 disc brakes with ABS and drive modes further help in off-roading. The car seen here is a fully loaded automatic variant of the Hexa.
