Tata Nexon with DCT automatic confirmed for launch
Tata Nexon will be getting a substantial update by next year and these spy shots have put all the rumours of a DCT gearbox to rest. You can clearly see the details of the engine with DCT written on it in the engine bay.
Tata Motors is testing the compact SUV since a long while with a new 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that will be offered with a dual-clutch automatic transmission. The new 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo engine is likely to produce around 125 PS of power.
Apart from these prominent mechanical updates, the Indian carmaker will also be offering heavily revised exterior and interior.
It will come with sharper design elements up front with new headlights, new DRL design and revised bumper. The Nexon will get new alloy wheel design and new shoulder line as well. The rear profile will get new sleeker tail lamps with dynamic swipe indicators.
The interior too will come with a new dashboard design inspired by the Curvv concept. It will boast a new two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo. You can expect more features on offer with the updated Nexon.
