Interiors of the upcoming Tata Nexon have been revealed. Looking at the pictures it is well assured that Tata Motors have gone a mile extra in making the cabin a more better place by offering some segment-first features and the quality seems to be top-notch. The Nexon is the fourth Tata car to get the IMPACT design language treatment and comes based on the X1 platform.
The floating centre console is the immediate attention grabber. It instantly makes you feel you are indeed sitting that’s slotted in the premium segment. The unique sliding tambour door features additional storage space. Apart from the floating centre console, Tata is offering a floating touchscreen infotainment system that gets High Definition treatment for crisp and vivid graphics and Harman’s 8-speaker system setup. Talking about the infotainment system, it also gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Powering the Tata Nexon is either a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine from the Revotron family producing 110 HP and 170 Nm of peak torque or a 1.5-litre Revotorq diesel engine producing 110 HP and 260 Nm of peak torque. Both these engines come paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox and are new-generation engines making their debut in the Nexon.
Tata is also offering a Multi Drive Mode system on the Nexon with Eco, City and Sport modes on offer. Other features include projector headlamps, LED DRLs, 16-inch alloy wheels, multi-function steering wheel, start-stop button, rear-view camera and rear AC vents.
