The Tata Tigor facelift sports redesigned headlights and a new grille.
The Tata Tigor facelift has been launched, priced from Rs. 5.75 lakhs (ex-showroom). Comes with cosmetic changes on the exterior and interior along with new features. Gets only 1.2-litre BS6 petrol engine, diesel engine option discontinued.
Similar to its hatchback sibling, the Tigor facelift follows Tata’s new Impact Design 2.0 language. The front is inspired by the Altroz’s, with a chrome-lined grille and a raised bonnet. Both, the Tiago and Tigor facelifts, sport redesigned headlights and a new grille incorporating several Y-shaped elements, while the latter also sports LED DRLs mounted in the front bumper.
Since Tata has decided to axe the small diesel engines from its lineup, the Tata Tigor facelift is offered with a single BS6-compliant 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 86 PS at 6600 RPM and 113 Nm of torque at 3300 RPM. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as well as 5-speed AMT.
Some of the key features include 7-inch Harman infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, all-digital instrument cluster, push button start/stop, 8-speaker surround sound system, rear parking assist with camera, etc.
In terms of safety, the Tigor facelift gets 4-star Global NCAP crash test rating. Adult occupant protection score is 12.52 out of 17 and child occupant protection score is 34.15 out of 49. It comes with ABS, EBD, cornering stability control and dual front airbags as standard across all variants.
