Tata Motors has clocked 85,000 units with the Zest compact sedan and to celebrate, the Premio edition has been launched.

Tata has launched the special edition Zest Premio with a starting price of Rs. 7.53 lakhs (ex-showroom), to celebrate the car’s 85,000 unit sales since its launch. The compact sedan has been churning out decent numbers in the fleet segment. The Premio edition gets an array of cosmetic upgrades to the table, making the Zest look more sporty. There are no mechanical changes though in the car and the Premio edition is offered only in the diesel variant.

The changes in the Zest Premio include dual-tone roof in glossy black finish, piano black hued outside mirrors and tan finished mid pad on the dashboard for the interior. You also get smoked headlamps and a piano black hood strip along with a dual-tone bumper. At the rear, it gets a piano black boot-lid garnish and Premio special edition badge. It comes with silver wheel covers and you can also get a piano black spoiler as an optional accessory.

The interiors get new seat fabric with contrast stitching and Premio branding. It is also equipped with the ConnectNext Harman touchscreen infotainment system. The Tata Zest Premio is offered in two colour options – Titanium Grey and Platinum Silver. Powering the Zest Premio is the same 1.3-litre diesel engine that produces 75 PS of power and 190 Nm of torque.
