With sales figures for the months of June 2015 out, we have compiled a list of the ten worst selling bikes in India in the month.

Top 10 Worst Selling Bikes In June 2015
Honda leads in the scooter segment but has six bikes in the worst sellers’ list

Honda has emerged as the brand with the highest number of bikes selling in low numbers. Out of the ten bikes on the list, six belong to the Japanese bike maker. Topping the list is the Honda CB Trigger which managed to find just four buyers in the past month. Coming second on the list is the Honda CB Twister which is a bit of a surprise considering it used to sell in decent numbers until sometime ago. But this might be because of the recently launched Livo 110 which is a commuter segment bike from Honda. At the third position is the Mahindra Pantero which was discontinued recently.

The Suzuki GS150R comes in at the fourth position selling just 11 units because most of its sales have been taken away by its own sibling, the Gixxer which is a compelling package at a good price point. Another Honda on the list is the CB Unicorn 150 which is at the fifth position and it is the Unicorn 160 to which it has lost most of its sales numbers. Along with the GS150R, another Suzuki features on the list in the form of the Slingshot which could never be too popular in the price sensitive and highly skewed commuter bike segment. Coming in at the seventh position is the Honda CBF Stunner which has become too old now and was discontinued last year.

The last three positions are occupied by bikes which are a little more expensive than the others. Coming in at the eighth position is the only Hero bike on the list, the Karizma (both R and ZMR combined). Ever since the facelift of the flagship Hero motorcycles came out, the sales figures have fallen down because lots of customers aren’t liking the looks and have moved to competition bikes. The last two spots are taken by the Honda CBR250R and CBR150R which sold 459 units and 781 units respectively. These bikes have been hit badly by the 200cc offerings from Bajaj and KTM which offer more bang for the buck. This is also the reason why we don’t see any Bajaj or KTM machine feature on the worst selling bikes’ list. There is no Yamaha or TVS either.
