In spite of having a diversified range of 2-wheeler offerings in the Indian market, there are a few bikes that enjoy market dominance every year. No other vehicle matches the sales figures of these particular highest sold offerings. This year it’s the Hero Splendor which isn’t surprising as it has been among the highest sold motorcycles in the Indian market since years.

With sales of 2,01,100 units, the Hero Splendor has topped the list. Honda Activa, which is undoubtedly one of the most popular scooters in the Indian market right since the day it was launched, has acquired the second position fetching sales of 1,80,811 units.

Notably, the list consists of 11 motorcycles and 9 scooters. Other than the Honda Activa, other scooters like the TVS XL Super, TVS Jupiter, Hero Maestro, Suzuki Access, Hero Duet, Yamaha Ray, Honda Dio and Yamaha Fascino have also done well in the market in the month of November 2016.

Coming to the motorcycles, the Hero HF Deluxe, with sales of 1,10,515 units, Hero Glamour with 53,301 units, Honda CB Shine with 45,236 units, Bajaj Platina with 42,395 units, Hero Passion with 40,272 units and Royal Enfield Classic 350 with 35,809 units being sold, are in the top 10 section of the list.

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 has been among the highly admired commuter motorcycles, is in the 11th spot and it has managed to fetch sales of 32,788 units. Proceeding further, the Bajaj CT 100, TVS Apache and Honda Dream fill the list with sales figures of 21,565 units, 21,449 units and 17,286 units, respectively.
