Only time will tell if the other motorcycles can catch up with the Classic 350

Royal Enfield’s Classic 350 leads the 200-500cc bike sales in January 2021, like the month before and several months prior to that.

In all, 40,872 units of the motorcycle got sold in January this year, and the bike sits well clear of second-placed Bajaj Pulsar 180 and NS200 duo, which found 11,730 takers.

The Bullet 350 from Royal Enfield comes next with 11,570 unit sales in the first month of the year, followed by the Bajaj Pulsar 220F, which was taken home by 6310 people.

Fifth and sixth spots in the 200-500cc bike sales list of January 2021 are occupied by Royal Enfield products, respectively the Bullet 350 ES (5431 units) and the Meteor 350 (5073 units).

Honda’s H’ness CB350 managed to find 3543 homes in January. However, with the addition of the CB350RS, this figure should rise considerably in the coming months.

KTM’s Duke 200 (2979 units), Hero Xpulse 200 (1750 units) and the Bajaj Avenger 220 (1184 units) complete the top 10 200-500cc bike sales list.

Almost all of the motorcycles in the list witnessed sales growth, barring the Bullet 350 ES. Overall, the motorcycles in the list garnered 90,442 unit sales, which is a 28 percent growth year-on-year.
