Top-Selling Compact SUVs In November 2020
The most popular SUV segment has once again registered good sales figures.
Kia Motors’ Sonet was the leader of the November 2020 compact SUV sales, while another Korean car, the Venue, followed suit.
With 11,417 units to its name, the Sonet came first and second-placed Hyundai Venue added 9265 more units to its tally.
Leader of October sales, Maruti’s Vitara Brezza, dropped down to third place in the November 2020 compact SUV sales list, having sold 7838 units.
Tata’s Nexon came fourth, with just over 6000 unit sales, while Mahindra once again sold its XUV300 in decent numbers (4458 units).
Toyota shifted 2832 units of the Urban Cruiser from its showrooms in November, while the Ford EcoSport, with 1590 units, and Honda WR-V, with 958 units, rounded the table.
The car to witness the highest year-over-year (YoY) growth was the Mahindra XUV300 (100 percent), followed by the Nexon with 75 percent.
Ford’s EcoSport (-44 percent) and Maruti Vitara Brezza (-35 percent) saw their sales get eroded in comparison to the same period last year.
Overall, sales was up by 44 percent, but numbers were down from October 2020. Hopefully, sales will be sustained in the coming months.
