UV Sales October 2020
The UV segment has been very stable and is doing solid numbers

Maruti Eeco tops UV sales for the month of October in 2020 by a massive margin to second-placed Ertiga.

Over 13,300 units of the Eeco got sold in October with a healthy 33 percent increase in year-over-year (YoY) sales.

Another Maruti, the Ertiga, came second with 7748 units with an eight percent growth. When the firm reintroduces the diesel variant, we can expect sales of the model to further increase.

In third place came the Bolero from Mahindra which once again fetched solid numbers and similarly, the MPV that follows it, the Renault Triber, saw 5272 units get sold.

Toyota’s Innova Crysta, which is due for a facelift here, sold 4477 times over, followed by the XL6 and the Marazzo with 2439 and 737 units, respectively.

As many as 400 Carnivals got taken home by customers according to the October 2020 UV sales chart, while the GO+ fetched a paltry 30 units.

Even the most costliest product present in the list, the Toyota Vellfire, almost matched the Datsun having sold 29 units in October.

Overall sales increased by eight percent YoY to 42,065 units. While the growth rate was lesser in comparison with last month, the number of units sold surpassed September 2020’s figure.
