Toyota will officially announce the name of the upcoming Etios hatchback Liva on the launch of the Etios sedan. So the sedan will be called as the Etios, whereas the hatchback will be known as the Etios Liva. Powered by a 1.2 liter motor producing 80bhp, the Liva is one of the lightest hatchbacks around weighing in at just 890kgs. Diesel engines are supposed to follow soon, which will be a straight lift off from the Corolla Diesel, minus the variable geometry turbocharger. Price of the Liva is expected to range between Rs. 4.5-6.0 lakhs.
