Toyota has used red accents all over the body to give it a sporty look

Toyota India has launched the Etios Liva Dual Tone Limited Edition with a new paint job and added features. The launch has come just before the festive season which the company clearly wants to bank on.

The Toyota Etios Dual Tone Limited Edition comes in a single colour option which is the ‘Super White’. Staying true to its name, it gets a dual-tone finish with a blacked out roof which Toyota claims to be a first in the segment. The exteriors of the car also get red and black dual-tone grille, red front fog bezel, red door handles, red garnish on boot and decals on the sides, all of which should help draw in the younger customers.

The interior too gets new features. The cabin is now all-black with subtle red accents on the dashboard. The infotainment system too is new and has a 6.8-inch touchscreen display. The 3-spoke steering wheel gets a leather wrap. The red accent treatment continues on the leather wrapped gear knob and the rear AC vent bezels.

Mechanically, the Toyota Etios Dual Tone Limited Edition remains the same and is offered in two engine options. One is the 1.2-litre, petrol engine that puts out 78.9 HP at 5600 RPM and a peak torque of 104 Nm at 3100 RPM. The other is the 1.4-litre, diesel engine that produces 67 HP at 3800 RPM and a peak torque of 170 Nm from 1800-2400 RPM. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed transmission.

The safety package remains the same and there are dual front SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, front seat belts with pre-tensioner and force limiter and ISOFIX child seat locks on both the variants. The price for the petrol Toyota Etios Liva Limited Edition is Rs. 6.50 lakhs and for the diesel variant is Rs. 7.65 lakhs (both prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).
