Toyota has introduced a new G Plus variant for the Innova, available in 7-seater and 8-seater options.

The Toyota Innova Crysta is one of the most popular MPVs in the Indian market and now the automaker has made it more accessible to private as well as fleet buyers by introducing a new G Plus variant. The new G Plus variant is slotted between the G and GX trims.

The Toyota Innova Crysta G Plus is available with both 7-seater as well as 8-seater configurations. It is priced at Rs. 15.57 lakhs for the 7-seater and Rs. 15.62 lakhs for the 8-seater (all prices, ex-showroom) and it is cheaper than the GX trim by approximately Rs. 38,000/-.

In terms of equipment, the G Plus variant loses out on rear defogger, audio system, rear centre armrest, etc. but comes equipped with a rear spoiler, 16-inch alloys, airbags, rear parking sensors, AC vents for all 3 rows and halogen headlamps. Red and Pearl White colours aren’t available on the G Plus.

With no mechanical changes being made, the Toyota Innova Crysta comes powered by the same 2.4-litre diesel engine producing 148 HP and 343 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox while an AT isn’t available on the G Plus trim.
