Toyota Urban Cruiser Bookings To Commence From 22nd August 2020

Toyota will commence Urban Cruiser bookings from 22nd August, marking the imminent arrival of the compact SUV that the brand calls “youngest urban SUV”.

Customers can book the car for a nominal amount of Rs. 11,000/- and bookings can either be done online on Toyota’s website or at the dealership.

The carmaker says that the car will come with a 2-slat chrome grille, a trapezoidal fog-lamp area, LED headlights with LED DRLs and LED fog lights.

Also, the car can be had in dual-tone colour theme, including a new brown colour, while the wheels are 16-inch diamond cut alloys.

Inside, the compact SUV will get dual-tone dark brown premium interior, with several features such as engine push start/stop function, auto AC, Smart Playcast touchscreen audio with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and smartphone-based navigation.

Moreover, the compact SUV will also come with smart entry, rain sensing wipers, cruise control and electrochromic Inside Rear View Mirror (IRVM) features.

The latest offering from Toyota is powered by a K-Series 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that will be mated to manual and automatic transmission (AT) options.

All AT variants will be equipped with a Li-Ion battery with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) that will provide torque assist, regenerative braking and idle start/stop functions.

Warranty-wise, the car will come with 3 years/1 lakh km package and the manufacturer promises more extended benefits as well. Expect Toyota to price the car competitively to take on its rivals such as the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue and the likes.
