Toyota Urban Cruiser Leaked Ahead Of Festive Season Launch

This how the Toyota Urban Cruiser will look like in the flesh when it is launched this festive season and the badge-engineered car, at least when looked head-on, has its own distinctive face.

That is because, the major changes have happened at the front, where, one can see the restyled grille, a different bumper and a revised fog lamp housing. Also different are the alloy wheels, to further differentiate it from the Vitara Brezza.

Past that though there seem to be no changes as doing that would be expensive and counterproductive to the whole initiative that the Japanese maker has undertaken.

Touted as the youngest urban SUV from Toyota’s range, the compact SUV is only the second model from the Maruti Suzuki-Toyota alliance, with the Glanza being the first of many models that are expected to be launched in the future.

Like with the hatchback, the Urban Cruiser will likely be available in higher-spec variants. Pricing is also expected to be similar to the similarly specced variant of the Maruti Vitara Brezza.

If you could not guess it by now, engines and gearboxes will also be shared with the Maruti car, however, the Toyota is expected to come with only the mild hybrid tech so as to boost economy figures.

One other key differentiator would be the fact that Toyota would offer a 3 years/1 lakh kilometre warranty as standard with the Urban Cruiser, which is different to what Maruti itself offers on the Vitara Brezza.
