Triumph Motorcycles entered the Indian market in 2013 with an aggressive onslaught of 10 bikes in one shot. Soon after at the 2014 Auto Expo, the British bike maker set the stage on fire with their complete range on display. Within no time Triumph gathered tremendous attention as a premium motorcycle brand in India, opening 8 fully functional dealerships since launch. The British iconic brand has now achieved a milestone of selling more than 1300 motorcycles in India.

Triumph has also recorded its highest sales in 30 years globally, reaching 54,432 units of volume in a single year. That is a 4.5 percent year-on-year increase in sales. Emerging markets like India and Brazil have proven to be quite lucrative for the British bike maker and these countries have contributed substantially to their impressive sales. The Indian premium motorcycle market was a tough nut to crack with the existence of Harley-Davidson and its strong brand awareness. In spite of that, Triumph has managed a strong foothold in our country.

Currently, Triumph’s Indian product portfolio comprises of 11 different models across five categories, which includes classics, cruisers, roadsters, adventure and super sports. Triumph has also set up rider groups in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kochi for interactive activities amongst customers. They have build your own bike concept and full stock of riding gear, accessories and clothing across all their stores in India. The British motorcycle manufacturer also offers 2-years unlimited mileage warranty on its bikes.
