Much has been spoken about the TVS Apache RR 310S. The bike has been spotted testing a number of times on Indian roads and this time it looks to be in its production-ready form. The recent spy shot also reveals the motorcycle to have a very comfortable riding posture.

The flagship Apache’s arch-rival will be the upcoming KTM RC 250 and considering the riding posture of both the bikes, prospective customers would prefer the Apache due to its comfortable riding position. The KTM, on the other hand, has a sporty riding position which doesn’t make it comfortable for long rides.

The handlebar on the Apache 310 has been placed in close proximity to the rider, while the seating position is upright which will make this motorcycle a good sports tourer. The bike borrows heavily from its street-fighter sibling, the BMW G310R, including the powertrain.

The Apache 310 has been spotted for the first-time with a uniquely designed rear tyre hugger that also gets an integrated saree guard. The tyre hugger comes mounted to the left side of the swingarm.

The Apache RR 310S is powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 34 HP of power and 28 Nm of torque. The engine comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Expect TVS to launch the its first full-faired offering in early 2018.
