TVS Orbiter Launched In India, Positioned Below The TVS iQube

TVS expands its electric scooter portfolio with the launch of the Orbiter starting at Rs. 99,900/-. The TVS Orbiter positions itself as an urban e-scooter for both young riders and families, combining modern design with practicality.

Styling

It sports modern touches like large LED lights, a decent-sized windscreen, and curvy body panels that add to its visual appeal. Buyers have the option to choose from six vibrant paint schemes, i.e. Neon Sunburst, Stratos Blue, Lunar Grey, Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium, and Martian Copper.

Battery Capacity & Range

A 3.1 kWh battery pack powers the Orbiter, delivering a claimed riding range of 158 km on a single charge. The Orbiter restricts its configuration to a single option, unlike the iQube, which offers multiple battery options. While TVS hasn’t disclosed charging time or fast-charging details yet, the scooter’s feature-rich approach makes it stand out in the segment.

Features

On the tech front, The Orbiter features a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Riders benefit from advanced features such as cruise control, hill-hold assist, reverse parking assist, OTA updates, and USB charging. A dedicated smartphone app enhances convenience, offering smart integrations for daily commuting.

Market Competition

Online bookings for the TVS Orbiter have already begun. The TVS Orbiter competes with rivals like the Ather Rizta, strengthening TVS’ presence in India’s fast-growing EV scooter market.
