TVS-BMW twin-cylinder bike expected to have a displacement in the 300cc-650cc range.

TVS-BMW twin-cylinder bike would aim at higher sales figures than the RR 310 and G 310 R

You read it first on MotorBeam. TVS has previously expressed the desire for the production of a twin-cylinder Apache performance bike. As of now, there is no time frame as to whether this partnership with BMW will give us a new twin-cylinder bike. The prototype of this bike might also be showcased at the next Auto Expo in February 2020.

According to sources, the new motorcycle will be between 300cc-650cc in displacement. They are also working on multiple bikes that can be launched. Also, to compete against the RC390, a triple-cylinder bike might also be on the cards.

As the BMW G 310 R and the TVS Apache RR 310 did not fulfil the sales expectations of the companies, this new motorcycle may achieve what they could not. But keeping in mind that BMW Motorrad has not yet developed an engine that supports twin-cylinders and comes under 500cc, this could make things tricky for TVS.

TVS Twin Cylinder

– The bike will be in the 300cc-650cc range
– The bike would be the first twin-cylinder bike from the TVS-BMW collaboration
– TVS-BMW partnership might get us multiple bikes in that segment
