2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan
One can expect to see the latest version in Royal Enfield showrooms soon

Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch the 2021 Himalayan with a slew of updates including Tripper Navigation and new paint shades.

Set to be introduced before the month-end, the motorcycle is expected to come with a Pine Green colour, as the firm continues to embrace different and colourful paint shades, along with Mirage Silver and Bright Black (!) colours.

Although the image shown above looks to be taken from the manufacturer’s official website, we cannot say for sure if this shade will be offered or not, although it does look rather good, especially with the paint stripe on the tank.

Some of the old colours, in particular the Solid White, and some other dull ones, will make way for the above mentioned paint options.

Recently, 1 unit of the adventure motorcycle was spotted featuring Tripper Navigation that the firm first introduced in its Meteor 350. Thus, it is evident that the 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan will come with that feature.

Also, the frame section on the bike to which jerry cans can be mounted to have been restyled and moved a bit forward as well, most likely to give more kneeroom/clearance for taller riders.

Despite all these changes, however, the powertrain will remain constant. The 411cc motor will churn out 24.3 BHP and 32 Nm like before and will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Given that a new feature, few new paint options are set to be offered with the 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan, the asking price of the motorcycle, will be increased when it is launched later this month.

At present, the adventure motorcycle’s price starts from Rs. 1.91 lakhs (ex-showroom), which will be revised upwards by a considerable sum.
