The VLF Mobster 135 secures 1000 bookings after 48 hours in India. Both online and offline Motohaus showrooms helped the scooter gain traction. The scooter aims to capture the hearts of young Indian riders.
Engine
Italian designer Alessandro Tartarini designed the Mobster 135 with its streetfighter-inspired styling and premium features. The scooter houses a liquid-cooled 125cc engine that produces 12.1 hp and 11.7 Nm. The scooter features a 5-inch Bluetooth TFT, dual-channel ABS, traction control, and keyless ignition.
Suspension
It also offers auto start/stop, dual gas-charged rear shock absorbers, and a top speed of nearly 100 km/hr. The scooter sets a benchmark in its class with mileage of around 46 km/l. These specifications make it a performance-oriented yet efficient scooter.
Booking & Pricing
Bookings began on September 25 with a token amount of Rs. 999, available nationwide. The cities listed are Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Goa, Thane, and Lucknow. The scooter is initially priced at Rs. 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
The first 2500 units will retain the launch price before it increases to Rs. 1.38 lakh. Sustained market momentum ahead is indicated by strong demand.
