VLF Mobster Front

VLF Mobster To Launch In India On September 25, Will Be Powered By Either A 125cc or 180cc Engine

Motohaus, known for retailing Brixton Motorcycles in India, has teased the launch of the VLF Mobster. VLF will debut the scooter on September 25, marking its second offering after the electric Tennis 1500W. Unlike its predecessor, the Mobster will be a petrol-powered internal combustion engine scooter.

Styling

Visually, the Mobster stands out with aggressive styling and sharp bodywork, making it a true attention-grabber. Its front features a BMW S 1000 RR-inspired headlight, adding a sporty vibe. The rear design shows exposed hardware and vents, enhancing its edgy appeal.

Engine

In Europe, the VLF Mobster comes with two engine options, i.e. a 125 cc and a 180 cc unit. The 125cc engine produces 11.83 HP and 11.7 NM of torque. The 180cc version generates 17.75 HP and 15.7 NM, providing superior performance.

The brand has not confirmed which engine option will be available in the Indian market.

Suspension

The VLF Mobster rides on 12-inch wheels with wide tyres, ensuring grip and stability on varied roads. The scooter includes telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks to enhance suspension comfort. This setup ensures a good balance of ride comfort and handling.

Features

The Mobster will be equipped with a built-in dashcam, a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and screen mirroring functionality. Additional features include call alerts, SMS notifications, navigation, and music playback. These features are already available in its European version.

Market Competition

We expect Motohaus to price the VLF Mobster aggressively in India’s premium scooter market. It will compete with TVS Ntorq 125, Yamaha Aerox 155, Suzuki Avenis, and Aprilia’s offerings. Its unique combination of style and tech provides it with a competitive edge.
