Volkswagen had recently launched the new 2011 Jetta in various countries in the world. The company now intends to launch the new model in India by June. The German automaker is yet to decide on BlueMotion Technologies on the upcoming Jetta as they want to gauge user feedback first. BlueMotion technology includes various features such as Attention Assist, Engine Start Stop and Regenerative Braking. Since its launch in the country, the Jetta has sold 2500 units.

“We will finish the existing ones (sales) and get in the new one in the second half of this calendar year,” Neeraj Garg, Volkswagen Passenger cars Director and Board member said. “We will have to see the effectiveness of the Blue Motion Technology on how they (customers) like it.. Then we will try to make it in other models also,” he added.
