Volkswagen unveils exclusive Flash Red colour for Virtus and Taigun GT Line
Volkswagen India has introduced a new Flash Red paint option for select variants of its Virtus and Taigun models. This vibrant new shade will be available exclusively on the GT Line variants of both vehicles, which are equipped with the 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine.
The Flash Red finish is paired with a series of blacked-out styling elements, including the roof, outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), alloy wheels and door handles. The contrast design adds a sportier and more aggressive aesthetic to the GT Line trims.
These GT Line variants are powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 115 PS between 5000 and 5500 RPM and 178 Nm of torque between 1750 and 4000 RPM. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, depending on preference.
It’s worth noting that this new Flash Red colour option is not offered with the higher-powered 1.5-litre TSI variants of the Virtus and Taigun, which continue with the existing colour palette.
The update aligns with Volkswagen’s broader strategy of enhancing its product appeal through subtle exterior updates without mechanical changes.
