The newly launched Yamaha MT-15 is available in two paint schemes from the factory. These include a full black colour scheme and a blue colour scheme with neon green highlights. To make the deal even more interesting, some dealers are offering the MT-15 with new paint schemes and colour combinations.

A white-black paint scheme is available where the tank side panels and the radiator shrouds are finished in white and the rest of the motorcycle is painted in black. Along with it, a white and orange paint scheme is also available. It gets orange coloured wheels and an orange MT logo on the tank of the motorcycle and the rest of the bike is finished in white. This particular paint scheme is seen on the MT-15 sold in Indonesia. However, the dealer level paint schemes will add Rs. 20,000/- more to the price of the MT-15.

Apart from the paint schemes, the motorcycle remains the same. It is powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which produces 19 BHP and 14.7 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It gets a slipper clutch as well. The suspension duties are taken care of by conventional telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is via a 282 mm single disc in the front and 220 mm single disc at the rear. Yamaha is also offering a host of official accessories for the MT-15 which includes a skid plate, seat cover, mobile phone holder and a USB charger.
