Yamaha R15 Accessories Revealed At Auto Expo

Yamaha R15 accessories (for V3) showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo, Daytona exhaust on offer.

Yamaha unveiled and launched the R15 V3 at the 2018 Auto Expo and a day later has gone ahead and revealed some accessories for the 150cc supersport. Accessories include cosmetic as well as performance parts. For those unaware, the R15 V3 costs Rs. 1.25 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

For starters, there is a tank guard and seat cover on offer. Performace accessories include a Daytona exhaust (that will sound absolutely crazy!) which makes this accessorized version output 22.3 PS of power (the stock R15 makes 19.3 PS) and a race-spec Metzeler M5 Interact 140-section rear tyre. Mind you, these accessories are optional extras. The R15 V3 has no direct rival in India.

Powering the R15 V3 is a 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, fuel-injected motor that produces 19.3 PS of power at a screaming 10,000 RPM and 15 Nm of torque at 8500 RPM. The powertrain comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch. Colours on offer are Thunder Grey and Racing Blue.
