Yamaha has launched Monster Energy MotoGP limited editions of R15 V3, FZ25 and Cygnus Ray ZR.

Yamaha has a good hold on the 2-wheeler market in India and has been launching motorcycles consistently every quarter. It’s the 2nd half of 2019 and the company has launched limited-edition Monster Energy MotoGP variants for the R15 V3, FZ25, and the Cygnus Ray ZR. The new liveries of the R15 are priced at Rs. 1.42 lakhs, the FZ25 costs Rs. 1.36 lakhs (Rs. 2500 more than the standard models) while the Ray ZR special edition retails at Rs. 59,028/-. Customers will get a complimentary Monster Energy-branded t-shirt with every purchase.

Yamaha has launched the limited edition models as a part of its ‘Call of the Blue 2.0’ campaign. The limited-edition FZ25 consists of Monster Energy graphics on the front fender, lower fuel tank panel, under-seat panel and flaunts the paint scheme of black and blue shades. The upgrades to the limited edition models are just cosmetic as mechanically the bike remains untouched.

The mechanical numbers aren’t altered a bit. The FZ25 houses the same single-cylinder 249cc air-cooled motor churning out good 20.9 PS at 8000 RPM and 20 NM of torque at 6000 RPM. The engine ios mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Dual-channel ABS is a standard safety net on the FZ25.
