Maruti Suzuki has launched the BS6 compliant Ertiga MPV at Rs. 7.55 lakh. Top of the line ZXi automatic will set you back by Rs. 10.50 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). The Alto, Swift, Baleno and Wagon R are already equipped with BS6 compliant engines. The Ertiga is the latest addition to the BS6 line up.

The Maruti Ertiga BS6 is offered with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 105 PS and 138 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, while a 4-speed torque-converter automatic transmission is also an option. It is also equipped with SHVS hybrid technology that helps in increasing fuel efficiency.

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is one of India’s most popular utility vehicles and very often, takes a spot in the country’s top 5 best-selling cars. The BS6 upgrades made to the car have resulted in a price hike of Rs. 10,000/- for lower trims and Rs. 50,000/- for the top-end variants.
