The rains are here and KTM has launched an orange protective outdoor cover for the Duke 200. The company claims this cover can be used in all season and is made from special fabric which does not allow dust or condensation to pass through. This Duke 200 bike cover comes with a bag for storage and is completely water-proof. The protective cover is also resistant to resins, bird droppings and salt. This Duke 200 protective bike cover is priced at Rs. 720/- and the pricing is introductory. It is available at all KTM dealers in the country but KTM is not selling it online.
The KTM Duke 200 is the first KTM bike in the country. It is manufactured by Bajaj Auto at its Chakan facility. The Duke 200 is heavily localized and is powered by a 200cc engine which produces 25 BHP of output. The bike can be booked across KTM showrooms for an amount of Rs. 20,000/- with the delivery being done within 90 days. KTM has been expanding showrooms across India and all pro-biking showrooms have been converted to KTM showrooms. However new showrooms are being opened now. KTM’s next bike in India would be the Duke 350, while the Duke 990 is scheduled for a 2014 launch.
