Even the 150cc motorcycle segment did not have a good outing last month

In October 2021, 150cc bike sales declined by 21 percent over the year ago period

Sitting at the top of the 150cc bike sales chart in October 2021 with a collective sales figure of 39,799 units is the TVS Apache range.

In second place, which should actually be the first place due to the number of models present in the Apache range with differing engine capacities, is the Bajaj Pulsar 150 which registered sales of 24,495 units.

In third place came the FZ, 13,404 units of which Japanese 2-wheeler brand Yamaha sold in October and it was followed by its stablemate the R15, which was ridden home by 10,246 new buyers.

Honda’s 180cc models are not bringing the brand enough sales

Up next is the Honda Unicorn, which has managed to register sales of 7077 units, while during the same period, Hero sold 6919 units of its Xtreme range of motorcycles.

Yamaha’s MT-15 was seventh in the October 2021 150cc bike sales chart. The naked motorcycle found just over 6000 new homes in the said period.

In the last 3 places, the Suzuki Gixxer (2775 units), Honda CB200X (693 units) and Suzuki Intruder (69 units), were present, completing the top 10 sales chart.

In all, the motorcycles in the list registered sales of 1,11,493 units combined. This is a 21 percent decline in their overall sales figure when compared with the figure they posted in October 2020.
